Miriam Schubach was born in Hamburg in 1984. She studied costume design and scenography at the University of Applied Arts and Sciences Hannover (Hochschule Hannover) and École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs ENSAD in Paris. During the course of her studies she did an intership at the Opéra National de Paris and at the Comédie Française. After completing her studies she worked as a costume assistant at Staatstheater Stuttgart in the genres of drama, opera and ballet. In the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons she worked in production management for drama and as assistant to the costume management for drama and ballet.
Since 2018 Miriam Schubach works as a freelance costume designer.
Since 2020 she studies fine arts at Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Stuttgart.
